EU IMPORT NOTICE — PLEASE READ

Customers ordering from the European Union should be aware that additional import duties, taxes and carrier fees may be charged when your VDUB HUB order arrives.

VDUB HUB ships from Canada, so EU orders may be subject to import charges upon arrival. These charges are not included in your VDUB HUB order total or shipping cost and are collected directly by the carrier/customs authorities.

We are currently using UPS for EU shipments.

As an example, a recent shipment was assessed:

  • Import Duty: $4.83
  • Carrier/Import Fees: $91.65
  • Import Taxes: $23.89
  • Total additional charges: $120.37

⚠️ Please note: This is only an example. The amount charged will vary depending on the value, type and origin of the parts, destination country, and applicable EU import regulations and carrier fees.

These charges are the responsibility of the customer and must be paid directly to UPS or the applicable carrier.

♻️ Get Rewarded for Recycling — Save Money When You Shop Salvaged Parts!

What is a Core Return?

A “Core Return” is similar to the deposit you might pay for a beer can or wine bottle. To promote recycling, you are charged a deposit when you purchase a can of beer and you receive your deposit back when you return the empty can. Many automotive parts have a Core Charge, or Core Price, that works the same way as a beer can deposit.

Here’s how the Core Charge works:

  • The part you are purchasing contains a component that is recyclable
  • The Core Charge deposit is charged at the time of purchase
  • When the recyclable component (your old part) is returned to us, the charge is refunded to you

To receive your Core Charge refund, you can do either of the following:

  • Bring the part into the Canada Catalyst Inc. store along with your receipt within 30 days of the sale.
  • Mail/ship the part to: VDUB HUB; Box #123, Wardsville, On. N0L 2N0, please include your order number and name on a paper in the box and/or a copy of your receipt. The core must be received within 30 days from the delivery day of your order. We do not provide return labels. 

We Charge HST on Core.

Core parts returned after the initial purchase are not eligible for HST(Harmonized Sales Tax) refund. Only the charge itself is refunded. The prices on the web page mostly include core and will say in the description. Items not including core in the price will have the current core rate added after check out. We will send a follow up email to notify you. It is our hope to soon have all core charges included in all prices where applicable online and apologize for this inconvenience. There is no core charge or core exchange for body, interior or accessory parts.
