OEM instrument cluster (speedometer) from a VW New Beetle with the ALH 1.9L TDI engine and automatic transmission. OEM part number 1C0920801B. Fits 1998–2001 New Beetle TDI automatic.
Important installation notes:
- Immobilizer 2 (Immo 2): This cluster is not plug-and-play. The engine will start for 1 second then shut off. You’ll need VCDS or VAG-TACHO to retrieve the SKC and adapt the cluster to your ECU and key.
- Odometer mileage is stored in the cluster. Correction requires specialized EEPROM software unless the cluster is in virgin mode (under 100 km).
- Fuel gauge calibration is specific to the Beetle — do not install in a Golf or Jetta as the fuel gauge will read incorrectly.
